CCUS Account Executive

Denbury is recruiting a CCUS Account Executive to join our corporate operations in Plano, Texas. This position reports to the Manager of CCUS Commercial Development. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing team in an emerging CCUS industry. Job responsibilities include making the first contact with potential customers and creating a successful customer journey to a final agreement.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Represent the Company on introductory calls with new customers, marketing our CCUS solutions.
• Actively engage in prospecting for new customers
• Create and foster positive customer relationships
• Collaborate with the commercial team to manage opportunities and development strategy.
• Partaking in developing the CCUS strategy and actions through internal workgroups and processes.
• Undertake various analytical tasks to evaluate the economic impact of potential agreements.
• Create and present compelling sales presentations to potential customers and project stakeholders.
• Negotiate, develop, and manage commercial agreements to optimize the Company's commercial interests.
• Serve as a communication hub between existing customers and the Company
• Offer new services or products to existing customers as relevant
• Manage and solve customer complaints or issues
• Other duties as assigned by leadership
• Travel to customer meetings is required (< 25%)

Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or Economics
• 5+ years' experience in sales and/or the oil & gas industry
• Demonstrated track record of taking commercial transactions from initial engagement to execution.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills along with analytical and modeling skills
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization and time management skills
• Developed skills as a competent negotiator
• Proficient with Microsoft's Office Product Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Physical Demands

Work will primarily be conducted in an office environment; travel may be required to plants or facilities, with the occasional need to wear personal protective equipment. The position requires the ability to communicate information frequently and manage an office environment's possible stress. Work may include being stationary for long periods, with occasional movement about the office. The position requires constant operation and viewing of a computer screen and other office machinery.
