Document and Process Analyst

The Document and Process Analyst will primarily design and implement processes for the creation, negotiation, execution, collection, organization, and maintenance of various agreements, documents, and other information to support the Land, Legal, and Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) teams. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate various departments throughout the company and with external clients.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides document management and maintenance of land, legal, and CCUS department files in both electronic and hardcopy formats
  • Facilitate contract management in compliance with internal and external standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise implementation plans
  • Work with in-house counsel and land representatives to create the approval chain and document approvals from each internal stakeholder
  • Track deliverables, obligations, key contract milestones, and expiration dates for various contracts
  • Ability to work with multi-functional teams
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and assist with special projects as needed


Required Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and work habits
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Advanced abilities in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with contract negotiations and the related legal terms is strongly preferred


Preferred Skills & Abilities

Minimum of 3 years of relevant transactional experience


Environmental & Physical Demand

Work will primarily be conducted in an office environment; travel may be required to district and field offices and oil and gas production facilities, with the occasional need to wear personal protective equipment. The position requires communicating information frequently and managing an office environment's possible stress. Work may include being stationary for long periods, with occasional movement about the office. The ability to lift to 35 pounds is required. The position requires constant operation and viewing of a computer screen and other office machinery.
