As a GIS expert, your proficiency in ArcPy, Python, SQL, and ESRI ArcGIS software will drive our innovative solutions. Collaboration is second nature to you; you're comfortable managing multiple tasks with autonomy. Ideally, you bring experience in the oil and gas sector or related fields, adding depth to our industry-specific insights. A degree in GIS, Computer Science, or a related field is your foundation, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
This position will report to our Plano, TX office working a Hybrid 9/80 schedule with two days remote and three required days on-site with every other Friday off.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide support for the engineering, operation, and maintenance of an enterprise-wide Geographic Information System (GIS).
- Develop scripts to automate repeatable workflows, create custom geoprocessing tools, maintain geodatabases, and manage ArcGIS Server and Portal.
- Generate innovative GIS solutions that enhance the functionality of ESRI's platform.
Skills and Relevant Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years of scripting/development experience using ArcPy API, Python, SQL, and Arcade
- Extensive familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS Software, encompassing ArcGIS Desktop, Enterprise Portal/AGOL, ArcGIS mobile applications, enterprise geodatabases, and Microsoft suite of products.
- Proficiency in SQL Server database management, including stored procedures and triggers.
- Experience in developing GIS-based web applications using.NET6, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, with Bootstrap knowledge being a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Resourcefulness, self-motivation, and effective teamwork capabilities.
- Ability to independently manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and work with minimal direct supervision.
Preferred:
- Previous involvement in oil and gas, energy, utilities, or related fields.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro.
Education
- Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
Environmental and Physical Requirements
- Frequently communicate information and manage the possible stress of an office environment
- Often stationary for long periods, with occasional movement about the office
- Constant operation and viewing of a computer screen and other office machinery
- The ability to lift to 35 pounds is required
- Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding
- Oral communication over the phone, video, and in person
