Job Summary
The Land Tech is responsible for handling a wide range of support-related tasks for the land, legal and government relations teams, with an intended initial focus on CCUS and CCUS-adjacent activities. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of support related tasks and will be able to work in various team atmospheres. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, have strong interpersonal skills and be able to balance multiple priorities at the same time.
Job Responsibilities
- Assists in preparation and assembly of presentations for the land, legal and government relations teams
- Monitor legislative sessions and deadlines
- Research and monitor government activities that could affect the organizations business and clients
- Track land documents through process of approvals, signing, recording and filing
- Create, manage and maintain documents and files for government relations and community engagement teams, in both electronic and hardcopy formats
- Performs other related duties and projects as assigned

- Advanced abilities in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and work habits
- Ability to handle multiple projects and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Environmental and Physical Requirements
Work will primarily be conducted in an office environment; travel may be required to district and field offices and/or oil and gas production facilities, with the occasional need to wear personal protective equipment. Position requires the ability to frequently communicate information and to manage the possible stress of an office environment. Work may include being stationary for long periods of time, with occasional movement about the office. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds is required. Position requires constant operation and viewing of a computer screen and other office machinery.
